recently, the anhui provincial automobile office and great yellow mountain office, in collaboration with nine provincial departments, issued the "great yellow mountain region charging and battery swapping infrastructure construction plan (2024—2027)." the plan aims to establish a modern, high-quality charging and battery swapping service system in the great yellow mountain region, including huangshan, chizhou, xuancheng, and anqing, by 2027. this system will be characterized by extensive coverage, appropriate scale, rational structure, comprehensive functionality, open integration, and public welfare benefits. it seeks to achieve "five full coverages, four no less thans, and three no more thans." the "five full coverages" refer to complete coverage of fast-charging facilities in highway service areas, along ordinary national and provincial roads, in tourist attractions, in townships, and in key rural tourism villages. the "four no less than" means that the number of public charging piles shall be no less than 30,000, the number of battery swap stations shall be no less than 110, the number of parking spaces with fast charging facilities or reserved for construction and installation in highway service areas shall be no less than 20% of the parking spaces for small passenger cars, and there shall be no less than 200 charging stations along ordinary national and provincial roads. the "three no more than" refers to a public charging service radius in central urban areas not exceeding 1 kilometer, an average interval of no more than 30 kilometers between charging stations on tourist scenic routes, and an average interval of no more than 50 kilometers between charging stations along ordinary national and provincial roads. it is reported that anhui will accelerate the construction of ultra-fast charging facilities in expressway service areas within the great yellow mountain region, improve charging efficiency, and enhance user experience. by the end of 2027, there will be 42 expressway service areas with ultra-fast charging facilities in the great yellow mountain region, with the distance between ultra-fast charging stations not exceeding 100 kilometers.
