on the morning of september 20th, the 2023 world manufacturing convention officially opened in hefei.
during the opening ceremony this morning, the "2023 top 500 chinese manufacturing enterprises" list will be released, showcasing new technologies and products in anhui's leading manufacturing sector at home and abroad. major project signings will also take place, including the signing of the memorandum of cooperation for further advancing the high-quality development of china's sound valley between the ministry of industry and information technology and the people's government of anhui province. the convention is co-hosted by the ministry of industry and information technology, the ministry of science and technology, the ministry of commerce, the state-owned assets supervision and administration commission of the state council, the chinese academy of engineering, the all-china federation of industry and commerce, the national association for friendship with foreign countries, the china association of small and medium enterprises, the global alliance of smes, and the people's government of anhui province. with the theme "intelligent manufacturing for a better future," the convention plans to hold 60 important events, including the opening ceremony, keynote forum, thematic activities, and specialized forums. it will feature an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, showcasing new manufacturing models, formats, technologies, and products, aiming to build a signature, leading, and high-level open cooperation platform in anhui and even nationwide, as well as a manufacturing event with international influence.
