on november 5, the 7th china international import expo (ciie) opened at the national exhibition and convention center (shanghai). more than 2,200 units and over 6,200 people from anhui province participated in this year's expo. 
this year's ciie features 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions, surpassing the previous edition in both the number of countries (regions) and enterprises. a record 297 of the world's top 500 companies and industry leading companies are participating, with 186 companies and organizations achieving full attendance across all seven sessions. 
since the inaugural expo in november 2018 in shanghai, anhui has meticulously organized participation each year. in the first six editions of the china international import expo, our province has organized a total of 13,200 purchasing units and 41,500 personnel to attend, resulting in a cumulative procurement transaction amount of 12.32 billion usd and attracting over 81.528 billion yuan in investment, covering more than 30 countries and regions.
