on the morning of october 9, the anhui promotion event for the osaka world expo 2025 took place in hefei. 
the osaka world expo 2025 will be held from april 13 to october 13, 2025, on the "yumeshima," an artificial island in western osaka. the theme is "designing future society for our lives," with 161 countries and regions, as well as 9 international organizations, confirming their participation. the expo is expected to welcome 28 million visitors. the china council for the promotion of international trade (ccpit) will organize the china pavilion on behalf of the chinese government, under the theme "building a community of life for man and nature — future society of green development." the pavilion will cover an area of approximately 3,500 square meters, making it one of the largest foreign self-built pavilions at the osaka expo. 
the world expo is the highest level expo in the world, serving as a significant platform to showcase achievements in global economy, society, culture, and technology. it also facilitates communication and cooperation, enhances mutual understanding, and promotes cultural exchange. according to the requirements set by the ccpit and the anhui provincial government, the anhui provincial council for the promotion of international trade will lead a series of activities for anhui day at the china pavilion on june 3, 2025. this will leverage the international platform of the osaka expo to showcase anhui's innovations in technology, green development, and cultural tourism. it will highlight the great yellow mountain as a world-class leisure and wellness tourism destination, strengthening exchanges and cooperation between anhui and countries around the world, and accelerating the establishment of a new highland for reform and opening up with significant influence.
