recently, the website of the ministry of commerce announced the review results of the pilot cities for the construction of a modern commercial and trade circulation system in 2024. the first batch of 20 cities will be included in the 2024 pilot program for the modern commercial and trade circulation system, and hefei city was selected as one of them. the first batch of 20 cities planned to be supported (in administrative order) are: tianjin, shijiazhuang, dalian, harbin, shanghai, hangzhou, ningbo, hefei, fuzhou, xiamen, nanchang, jinan, qingdao, zhengzhou, wuhan, guangzhou, shenzhen, chengdu, xi'an, and yinchuan. the "notice on supporting the construction of pilot cities for the modern commercial and trade circulation system" pointed out that the pilot cities are primarily selected based on a good working foundation, strong driving role, and great potential for improvement. the pilot work is planned to be implemented in three batches (2024-2026), with a construction period of three years. the central government will provide a fixed subsidy to the pilot cities. specifically, municipalities directly under the central government will receive around 400 million yuan, provincial capital cities and cities specifically designated in the state plan will receive around 300 million yuan, and other prefecture-level cities will receive around 200 million yuan. the specific funding support directions include: promoting the integrated development of urban-rural commercial and trade circulation, building a supply guarantee system for daily necessities, improving the rural commercial and trade circulation system, accelerating the cultivation of backbone enterprises in modern circulation, and improving the urban-rural recycling system for renewable resources.
