the third international new materials industry conference with the theme of "new materials create new values" was inaugurated in bengbu on november 24th. 
the conference was jointly organized by the anhui provincial people's government, the international commission on glass, china building material group co., ltd., and china baowu steel group corporation. keynote speeches and presentations were held, and the anhui new materials industry theme fund, opportunities and capabilities in the field of new materials industry, as well as the top ten enterprises, parks, and landmark events in the province's new materials industry were announced. a total of 83 projects are planned to be signed at the conference with an investment totaling 88 billion yuan.
at the same time, in order to fully display the development achievements of the new materials industry in recent years, the conference adopted a combination of online and offline approaches. the offline exhibition area is about 5,000 square meters, with four independent exhibition areas: preview hall, preface hall, advanced basic materials, key strategic materials, cutting-edge new materials, and major application scenarios. more than 500 new material enterprises from home and abroad brought more than 2,400 exhibits to participate in the exhibition.
