on october 28th, the first china (hefei) international science and art festival was held at the fusion reactor park in the future science city of hefei. the theme of the event was 'science and art in the digital era.' through expert forums, keynote speeches, roundtable dialogues, science popularization dramas, science and art exhibitions, popular science cultural and artistic activities, science and art markets, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, as well as personalized science and technology resources and science communication activities, the festival integrated the pursuit of truth in science and the pursuit of beauty in art. it showcased a series of exciting activities that intertwined and merged science and art, creating a rich atmosphere of harmonious coexistence between 'science' and 'art.' 
multiple science popularization dramas presented by the anhui science and technology museum, hefei science and technology museum, and hefei modern science museum, along with sand painting performances by renowned sand artists depicting scientific island scenes and representative achievements of large-scale scientific installations, allowed the public to appreciate the achievements of scientific innovation and scientific spirit through the appreciation of artistic works.
