the construction site of the ski resort on august 23rd, the construction site of the dabie mountains skiing project in huoshan county, anhui province, was in full swing. the dabie mountains (huoshan) skiing tourism resort project is located in xinpugou village, manshuihe town, huoshan county, with a planned area of about 100 mu (approximately 16.5 acres). the total investment in the project is 518 million yuan. the project is planned to be carried out in two phases, with the first phase planned to invest 168 million yuan. it is scheduled to be completed and open to the public by december 2023, while the second phase is expected to be completed by 2026. it is understood that this project is the largest skiing project in the east china region and also the largest individual project for the integration of "tourism sports" development in the county. after completion, it will further enrich the winter tourism content of huoshan, promote the transition of huoshan's tourism industry from summer tourism to four-season tourism, create a new landmark for tourism in huoshan, promote rural revitalization, and contribute to the healthy and orderly development of huoshan's comprehensive tourism.
