"after the opening and operation of the line, the time and space distance between chuzhou and nanjing has been greatly shortened, this has not only met the diverse travel needs of residents in both cities, but also facilitated high-level exchanges and integration across various fields on a large scale." feng huasong, the chief engineer of the chuzhou-nanjing intercity railway, introduced that the chuzhou-ningjing intercity railway starts from chuzhou high-speed railway station in chuzhou city, anhui province and ends at the planned nanjing north station in nanjing, with a total length of about 55.35 km, 17 stations, including 3 underground stations and 14 elevated stations, with an average station spacing of 3.43 km. it adopts the urban d-type train, with a designed speed of 120 km/h (reserved for 140 km/h). compared with subway, it is faster and more comfortable, and compared with high-speed railway, it has more frequent trips and more affordable prices.
