recently, the anhui provincial automobile office and the greater yellow mountain office, in collaboration with nine provincial departments, released the "construction plan for charging and battery swapping infrastructure in the greater yellow mountain area (2024-2027)" (hereinafter referred to as the "plan"). the "plan" outlines that by 2027, the greater yellow mountain area will achieve full coverage of fast charging facilities at expressway service areas, along ordinary national and provincial roads, at tourist attractions, in towns, and in key rural tourism villages. it also specifies that the number of public charging piles will be no less than 30,000, the number of battery swapping stations will be no less than 110, and at least 20% of parking spaces at expressway service areas will have fast charging facilities or reserved conditions for installation for small passenger vehicles. additionally, there will be no fewer than 200 charging stations along ordinary national and provincial roads. the public charging service radius in central urban areas will not exceed 1 kilometer, the average distance between charging stations on scenic tourism routes will not exceed 30 kilometers, and the average distance between charging stations along ordinary national and provincial roads will not exceed 50 kilometers. building the "super charging corridor" in the expressway network of greater yellow mountain the "plan" states that based on actual conditions, the construction of super charging facilities at expressway service areas in the greater yellow mountain area will be accelerated to improve charging efficiency and enhance user experience. establishing the "hundred villages, hundred stations" demonstration project the "plan" proposes comprehensive promotion of charging and battery swapping infrastructure in administrative villages (communities) with adequate distribution network capacity. the "hundred villages, hundred stations" demonstration project in the greater yellow mountain area aims to establish no fewer than 100 demonstration public charging stations each year from 2025 to 2027 in 100 beautiful leisure tourism villages, provincial-level boutique demonstration villages, and provincial-level central villages, with each station having a rated power of no less than 120kw. strengthening innovative technology demonstration and leadership in charging and battery swapping efforts will be made to promote new technologies like "photovoltaic ," vehicle-network integration, and to create an integrated demonstration application of "vehicle, energy, road, and cloud," accelerating the promotion of battery swapping models. by the end of 2027, there will be no fewer than 110 battery swapping stations in the greater yellow mountain area, achieving county-wide accessibility to battery swapping stations.
