since the beginning of this year, anhui has focused on advancing new industrialization as a lever to expand emerging industries, plan future industries, and transform traditional industries. it has accelerated the construction of a strong manufacturing province, injecting robust new momentum into economic development. in the first seven months, the province's industrial added value above designated size increased by 8.5% year-on-year, 2.6 percentage points higher than the national level, ranking fifth in the country, first among the yangtze river delta region, and first among major industrial provinces. operating income reached 2.98 trillion yuan, up 7.6% year-on-year, 4.7 percentage points higher than the national level, ranking fifth nationwide, first in the yangtze river delta region, and first in the central region. specifically, among all 41 major industrial categories in anhui, 33 industries saw an increase in both value-added and revenue year-on-year; automotive manufacturing and electronic information industry performed particularly well. both industries saw their value-added growth rates exceed 20%, while revenue increased by about 30%, playing a crucial supporting role. additionally, from january to july, anhui's industrial and technological transformation investments continued to be in the lead in the country. the province added more than 2,100 new industrial enterprises above designated size, bringing the total number of such enterprises to 23,351. this indicates that anhui's efforts to promote high-quality development in manufacturing are effective and have strong potential for future growth.
