the water street, featuring a distinctive "night economy," has gathered over 50 delicious snack vendors and time-honored brands. the introduction of various intangible cultural heritage experiences, trendy shops, and beautiful bookstores offers a rich and colorful night consumption experience. this summer, the water street welcomed around 300,000 visitors. 
like hefei, cities across the province are actively promoting the renovation and enhancement of key commercial districts and scenic spots for night consumption, extending business hours and planning local distinctive night consumption projects to boost the night economy. in wuhu, the skyline of shili jiangwan is filled with towering buildings and dazzling lights, while boats cruise the expansive river, allowing tourists to enjoy picturesque views. to develop the night tourism economy around the shili jiangwan, the local government invested 30 million to upgrade boats and dock facilities, making this night tour route highly sought after during the summer vacation. 
to accelerate the development of the night economy across the province, anhui has introduced a series of documents to improve support policies for night economy. focusing on creating boutique experiences, the province has launched evaluations for the "top ten night tour blocks" and "top ten night entertainment projects," nurturing over 60 provincial commercial streets. the integration of commerce and cultural tourism is encouraged, promoting interactive night consumption products and activities while innovating operational models and creating consumption hotspots. anhui's night economy has continually enhanced its quality, stimulating new consumption vitality. in the first half of this year, anhui's consumer market maintained growth, with total retail sales of consumer goods reaching 1199.69 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.
