recently, a train loaded with 110 teus departed from the hefeibei railway station logistics base. this marked the 503rd departure of the china-europe freight train (hefei) this year. the china-europe freight train is an important part of the belt and road initiative. it plays a vital role in promoting global economic development. from january to june this year, the china-europe freight train (hefei) operated 502 trains. among them, 309 were export trains, showing an 18.63% increase year-on-year. reporters learned from hefei customs that since its inaugural journey from hefeibei railway station in 2014, the china-europe freight train (hefei) has cumulatively operated over 4,100 trains, transporting more than 340,000 teus with a cargo value of 78 billion yuan. over the past decade, the operational capacity of the china-europe freight train (hefei) has grown exponentially, its service area continuously expanded, and both the scale and frequency of operations have increased more than tenfold, from initially one or two trains per month to now one or two trains per day. spanning the eurasian continent and connecting 18 countries and 147 international stations, the china-europe freight train (hefei) has established a multi-route, multi-portal, strongly linked, and highly covered international logistics corridor. "in recent years, we have continuously optimized the business environment to achieve high-speed operation and rapid customs clearance for the china-europe freight train," a relevant person in charge from luzhou customs under hefei customs introduced. efforts have been made to actively expand the coverage of the "railway express customs clearance" supervision model, effectively enhancing the efficiency of transfer transportation and facilitating customs clearance for railway export goods within china; constantly optimizing and improving supervisory services, maintaining a "7×24" hour appointment-based customs clearance mechanism, providing comprehensive guidance throughout the customs clearance process, ensuring that goods on the train are "inspected and released upon arrival"; in conjunction with the construction of hefei's major logistics system, efforts have been made to ensure the use of hefei international land port's customs supervision operations site, further improving the efficiency of goods inspection and the speed of customs clearance.
