from june 13th to 15th, the 2024 china brand products (central and eastern europe) exhibition was held in budapest, hungary. the exhibition was organized by the trade development bureau of the ministry of commerce of china and hosted by the china-europe trade and logistics cooperation park. more than 270 enterprises from 10 provinces and cities including shandong, shanxi, liaoning, zhejiang, gansu, jiangxi, fujian, jilin, and anhui were participating, with a total exhibition area of 10,000 square meters. the exhibits at this exhibition covered six major categories: mechanical and electrical products, hardware building materials, new energy, light industrial products, textiles and clothing, and agricultural products. since its inception in 2015, the china brand products (central and eastern europe) exhibition has been successfully held for six sessions in hungary. it has become an important platform for enterprises and merchants from central and eastern european countries to understand and purchase chinese brand products, and to engage in trade negotiations and investment cooperation with chinese manufacturers. compared to previous sessions, this exhibition has a wider reach, more participating companies, and an expanded exhibition area. the exhibition welcomed a cumulative audience flow of about 25,000 visitors. the on-site transaction volume reached nearly 20 million us dollars, with intended transactions amounting to nearly 90 million us dollars. it is reported that the participating enterprises could also utilize the independently operated china-europe freight train services, sea-rail intermodal transport, air cargo, and overseas warehouses by the china-europe trade and logistics cooperation park to continue offering a variety of services in hungary and the central and eastern european region. these services include international logistics, overseas warehousing, and distribution. meanwhile, as a supporter of this exhibition, the hungarian branch of china construction bank utilized the "ccb global matchmaker" b2b cross-border intelligent matchmaking platform to provide free cross-border matchmaking services. by adopting a "technology data" approach, an open and shared ecosystem was established, offering domestic and central and eastern european enterprises with business opportunity posting, intelligent matching, and comprehensive service solutions.
