in recent years, anhui has leveraged the natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and ecological advantages of southern anhui to drive supply-side structural reforms in tourism. this has led to a significant shift in the tourism industry of the great yellow mountain area, including huangshan, chizhou, anqing, and xuancheng, from traditional sightseeing to modern leisure, vacation, and wellness tourism. through upgrading the tourism industry, it has stimulated the clustered development of related modern service industries, creating a distinctive modern industrial ecosystem. by forming alliances with two major super ips, the "great yellow mountain" and the "yangtze river delta," anhui has accelerated the development of huangshan as a world-class destination for leisure, vacation, and wellness tourism. it has deepened exchanges and collaboration on employee rest and recuperation within the yangtze river delta region, promoting the construction of a high-quality tourism powerhouse province and significantly boosting the development of cultural and tourism economy. at the same time, anhui continues to enhance the service brand of the great yellow mountain employee rest and recuperation base, inviting more people to visit, appreciate, fall in love with, and frequently return to huangshan. on march 30th this year, the provincial government convened a meeting in huangshan city to advance the construction of the great yellow mountain world-class leisure, vacation, and wellness tourism destination. the meeting proposed that the core task is to expand new spaces for cultural and tourism consumption through supply-side structural reforms in tourism, aiming to develop high-quality modern service industry clusters in leisure vacation, medical wellness, creative economy, sports events, convention and exhibition economy, and cultural services. additionally, the cities of chizhou, anqing, and xuancheng have actively promoted themselves in terms of ecological tourism, wellness vacations, and historical culture, fully showcasing their economic vitality, innovative drive, urban charm, and investment potential.
