on june 13th, wuhan nio energy co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "nio energy"), in collaboration with zhong'an energy (anhui) co., ltd. (referred to as "zhong'an energy") and anhui transportation holding group, officially launched the first battery swapping station at the luoji service area on the g40 shanghai–xi’an expressway. this station is the first project implemented following the cooperation agreement signed between nio energy and zhong'an energy on march 22nd. according to the agreement, both parties will focus on anhui, promote throughout the yangtze river delta, and aim nationwide, orderly promoting the construction of 1000 integrated storage, charging, and swapping stations. this marks the first nio fourth-generation battery swapping station launched in anhui province, kicking off a good start for both parties to jointly create an open and shared energy storage, charging, and swapping network. the collaboration between the two sides will further accelerate the construction of the charging and swapping network in the yangtze river delta region, making the experience of powering up more convenient and efficient for users, with charging becoming more accessible than refueling. currently, nio energy has achieved full coverage of the battery swapping network across all 16 cities in anhui province, and has deployed 52 battery swapping stations and 42 supercharging stations within the province’s expressways, establishing a comprehensive expressway charging and swapping network. with the continuous deployment of nio's fourth-generation battery swapping stations in anhui, the density of the swapping network will further increase, ensuring convenient urban travel and worry-free long-distance journeys for users.
