on march 20th, nio inc. announced that it has completed the construction of 200 battery swap stations in the expressway battery-swapping system of the yangtze river delta region. with the ability to swap batteries in just 3 minutes, nio enables mutual accessibility between a combined total of 92 cities in jiangsu, zhejiang, shanghai, and anhui provinces through battery swapping. spanning a total distance of 901 kilometers from the northernmost city of xuzhou in jiangsu province to the southernmost city of wenzhou in zhejiang, ten battery swap stations are strategically located along the route. from shanghai in the east to fuyang in anhui, covering a distance of 650 kilometers, seven battery swap stations are set up along the way. moreover, the high-speed ring connecting shanghai, nanjing, hefei, and hangzhou stretches for 1075 kilometers with twelve battery swap stations placed along the route, ensuring nio users can travel between these cities conveniently and seamlessly. as of march 20th, nio has established a total of 786 expressway battery swap stations nationwide, creating an interconnected network covering seven vertical and six horizontal routes across eleven major urban clusters.
