since its trial operation on january 15, 2024, feidong science and technology museum has attracted numerous locals and tourists with its innovative exhibitions and diverse science outreach activities, becoming a new must-visit spot in hefei. 
located at the intersection of yaoshang road and weiran road in feidong county, hefei city, the museum covers a building area of 16,900 square meters, with exhibition halls spread across the first and second floors, encompassing a total exhibition area of 9,785 square meters. with the theme of "science, exploration, enlightenment, and dreams," the museum consists of six exhibition halls and five thematic modules, featuring 339 exhibits. the first floor includes the entrance hall, dream exploration hall, science discovery hall, safety guardianship hall, charming feidong corridor, and temporary exhibition hall. the second floor houses the human health hall and smart innovation hall. in addition, the museum is equipped with facilities such as a science outreach and innovation platform, lecture hall, 4d cinema, and fantasy theater. 
during the nearly two months of trial operation, the museum has received a continuous stream of visitors. as of march 10, feidong science and technology museum has welcomed a total of seven tour groups from various sectors (approximately 250 people), with a total number of visitors exceeding 30,000. particularly during the spring festival holiday and around the lantern festival, the museum experienced a surge in popularity, with the highest daily attendance reaching 1,333 people and peak hours witnessing up to 800 visitors, attracting significant attention from all walks of society. 
in the future, feidong science and technology museum will continue to actively explore new content and formats for science outreach activities, promote science popularization for the public, and engage in science education programs for young people. it aims to expand the influence of the museum, contribute to the development of science popularization education, and actively contribute to the improvement of public scientific literacy and overall social development!
