on march 3rd, as lei feng day was approaching, the feidong county sunshine volunteer service association in anhui held a spring festival gathering and one-year anniversary celebration. nearly 200 people, including association members and individuals from various sectors of society, participated in the volunteer's celebration. 
the feidong county sunshine volunteer service association is the first legally registered volunteer service organization in feidong county, anhui province. since its establishment on march 5th, 2023, the membership has grown from 50 to 141 members, comprising volunteers of different ages, including the elderly, middle-aged, youth, and children. 
over the past year, they have engaged in a series of volunteer service projects with distinct themes, diverse formats, and rich content. whether it is conducting public welfare lectures, fitness classes, caring for veterans, voluntary blood donation, aiding the elderly and disabled, or promoting civilized communities, their volunteer service activities have gained high recognition from various sectors of society. they have become an important force in the field of volunteer services in feidong. according to reports, in just one year, the association has organized and carried out 137 volunteer service activities, with over 1,500 volunteers participating. they have served a total of 16,600 people and accumulated 1,876 hours of volunteer service. the volunteers have shown kindness through their actions, not only built bridges for volunteer services but also gathered the collective strength of social volunteer services, making society more harmonious and beautiful.
