in order to build a new pattern of multi-source gas supply, anhui province has further expanded its upstream supply channels. it has actively introduced unconventional natural gas resources such as liquefied natural gas, xinjiang coal-based gas, and shanxi coalbed gas. the annual supply from suppliers other than petrochina, sinopec, and cnooc has reached 1.502 billion cubic meters, accounting for 15.41% of the total natural gas supply in the province, exceeding double digits for the first time. to further facilitate the midstream gas channel, anhui province has vigorously promoted the construction of oil and gas infrastructure in recent years. in 2023, projects such as the jiangsu-anhui pipeline, northeast anhui pipeline, and bozhou-taihe pipeline were completed and put into operation, significantly enhancing the natural gas transmission capacity and solving the gas supply bottleneck in cities such as hefei, chuzhou, and bozhou, fully meeting the gas demand. in addition, the downstream terminal market has been further developed. under the premise of matching supply with demand and implementing resources, the scale of the gas market is expanding in an orderly manner. in terms of residential gas usage, the installation and use of wall-mounted furnace for residents are fully guaranteed to meet the winter heating needs of the public. in terms of industrial gas usage, efforts are made to promote the production and expansion of major industrial users such as byd and gas peak-shaving power plants, leading to a rapid increase in the scale of industrial gas usage.
