the belt and road ceo conference of the 3rd belt and road forum for international cooperation (brf 2023) was held on october 17th 2023 at the national convention center in beijing. the theme of this year's conference is "high-quality belt and road cooperation: together for common development and prosperity." more than 1,200 representatives from various countries and regions attended the conference, with half-half chinese and foreign delegates. the foreign participants came from over 80 countries and regions, including more than 20 foreign ministerial-level officials, over 30 heads of foreign business associations, and nearly 60 representatives from the fortune 500 companies. several chinese and foreign business representatives delivered speeches at the conference. nearly 300 chinese and foreign representatives have signed contracts on site, covering multiple fields such as infrastructure, clean energy, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, financial services, modern agriculture, and rail transit. as one of the largest activities in the third belt and road forum for international cooperation, the belt and road ceo conference converge the consensus of mutually beneficial business cooperation, promote entrepreneurship, and foster new driving forces for high-quality belt and road development.
