the 10th chinese exposition of museums and relevant products and technologies (referred to as "expo") was held in hohhot, inner mongolia. the theme of this year's expo is "high-quality development of museums: emphasizing both research and education, integrating digital and physical approaches," co-hosted by the chinese museums association and the hohhot municipal government, with support from the inner mongolia autonomous region department of culture and tourism. founded in 2004, the expo is the most influential event in china's cultural and museum sector and also the largest professional museum exhibition in asia. this year's expo saw the participation of 552 museums and related companies, with an exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters. guided by the anhui provincial department of cultural heritage and led by the anhui museum association, the "anhui pavilion" covered an area of 225 square meters. the anhui delegation organized the participation of nearly 30 museums, including the anhui museum, huangshan city museum association, and fuyang city museum alliance, among 12 units, in this grand event. each museum brought along their distinctive high-quality cultural and creative products, conducting a variety of exhibits and public educational activities. this expo also hosted the board of directors meeting of the chinese museums association, main forums, and 8 academic conferences. in addition, there were 40 public events including specialized lectures, experiential activities, and public displays. the participants from our province actively engaged in related activities, fully exchanged ideas with other participating museums, earnestly studied and drew from new technologies, innovative ideas, and achievements in the cultural museum sector. they strived to explore new models for the protection and inheritance of excellent traditional cultures, while actively promoting anhui's voice and sharing anhui's experiences. selected by the organizers of the expo, the anhui museum association received the best organization award at the 10th expo, and the anhui museum won the best exhibition gold award (museum category).
