recently, the scientific research team led by associate professor xia shoujun from the school of design at anhui university of arts (aigc creative design studio), under the guidance of researcher gong xicheng, the archaeological leader of the wuwangdun tomb, visited the archaeological excavation site for a field study. they successively visited the lacquered woodware conservation room and the bronzeware conservation room, conducting detailed examinations of the unearthed lacquered woodware and bronzeware materials, and engaging in in-depth discussions on the inscriptions and decorative patterns of related artifacts. meanwhile, based on the principles of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, efficient cooperation, and mutual development," they joined hands with the anhui provincial institute of archaeology to sign the "multidisciplinary research cooperation agreement on unearthed cultural relics from the wuwangdun tomb." the team conducted three-dimensional scanning and modeling of the unearthed artifacts and carried out drawing and analytical studies on the shapes, decorative patterns, and ornamentation techniques of the objects. it is reported that the wuwangdun tomb is the largest, highest-ranking, and most complex high-level chu state tomb ever scientifically excavated. currently, related archaeological excavation and conservation research efforts are ongoing. the signing of this cooperation agreement further expands the school of design's capacity for social service and enriches the forms of its scientific research achievements. all parties involved in the agreement fully leverage their disciplinary strengths, technical advantages, and academic influence to cooperate extensively and jointly advance the conservation and research work on the cultural relics unearthed from the wuwangdun tomb.
