on october 11th, preparations for the opening of the new building of anhui science and technology museum are underway. the new anhui science and technology museum is located at the northeast corner of hong kong road and huanhu north road in the binhu new district of hefei, anhui province. it covers an area of about 5 hectares and consists of 5 above-ground floors and 1 underground floor, with a height of 45 meters. the total construction area is approximately 60,000 square meters, with about 48,000 square meters above ground and about 12,000 square meters below ground. as a significant cultural venue jointly constructed by the province and the city, anhui science and technology museum is expected to officially open in the second half of 2023. it can receive approximately 2 million people annually, benefiting approximately 45 million people both online and offline.
