on sept 21, 2022, the 2022 world manufacturing convention· sino-german forum on development of new energy vehicle industry was held in hefei, anhui provinces. experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from the industry gathered at the forum to make suggestions for the development of the nev industry. china's automobile industry has achieved high quality development, and emerging fields represented by nev and intelligent connected vehicles are developing rapidly in recent years. 
“auto industry is an important support force for the development of anhui’s manufacturing industry”, zhou xi’an, vice governor of anhui province, said in his speech. in order to accelerate the building of a world-class industrial cluster for nev and intelligent connected vehicle, anhui has listed nevs and intelligent connected auto industry in the top ten emerging industries, and is now further implementing “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,”setting up theme funds, strengthening the research and development innovation, constructing industrial park, industrial base and industrial internet. the province is willing to exchange and deepen cooperation with enterprises, business associations, experts and scholars in the field of nevs, including those from germany, to jointly innovate and develop a better future of the nev industry. 
the 2022 sino-german fourm on development of nev industry was hosted by the people’s government of anhui province, with the theme of “integrate and stimulate new momentum, open up and drive new development”. the forum aims to build amulti-field exchange platform in the field of nev, and promote cooperation among enterprises in the industry chain of nevs.
