on march 20, jac and its australian partners held a launch conference in sydney, australia with the first high-end pickup truck t9. more than 50 distributor representatives from across australia attended the event. 
the high-end pickup t9 released this time will be launched in australia in april. this diesel t9 model is equipped with jac's self-produced 2.0l diesel power and zf 8-speed automatic transmission, achieving a balance between power and fuel consumption. it is currently undergoing ancap safety testing in accordance with the latest and most stringent five-star rating standards. 
mr.xiang xingchu, chairman of jac, said in an interview that china becomes the world's largest automobile exporter for the first time in 2023. as one of the earliest chinese automobile brands to expand into overseas markets, jac has established 6 overseas subsidiaries and 19 overseas factories around the world, and has exported to 132 countries and regions around the world, with a total delivery volume of more than 1 million vehicles. 
pickups are one of the largest automotive market segments in australia, with annual sales reaching 250,000 units, accounting for 20% of total vehicle sales. before t9 entered the australian market, jac motors made adaptive improvements to its products based on local climate characteristics, consumer usage habits, etc., and launched products that meet consumer needs and have its own characteristics. 
mr.zhang peng, deputy general manager of jac, said that pickups are one of jac’s core advantageous businesses. although we are a new player in the australian market, jac pickups have entered more than 100 countries and regions around the world. 
a local partner of jac motors said that the chinese automobile market is developing rapidly, from which we see development opportunities and are confident in the sales prospects of t9 in australia. in the cooperation with jac , we will provide services in many fields including sales, technology and so on.
currently, china's new energy vehicles are accelerating their "go global". mr.zhang peng revealed that jac will also explore the new energy market in australia and launch pure electric products and hybrid products. in addition to the t9 pickup series products that will be sold soon, the research and development of jac's new generation dp platform has now started. jac plans to launch a number of pure electric and plug-in hybrid large pickup and suv models on this platform.
