during the "13th five-year plan" period, china's new energy vehicle (nev) charging infrastructure has achieved leapfrog development. however, some significant problems still exist, such as difficulty building charging piles in residential communities and unbalanced development of public charging facilities. recently, anhui province received 380 million yuan (about 5.67 billion u.s. dollars) incentive funds from the central government, which were especially used for the construction and operation of charging infrastructure. the department of finance of anhui province, the department of economy and information technology of anhui, and other departments will study and determine how to allocate the fund and the key sectors to support promptly. based on rewarding the promotion and application of nevs in various cities, they will focus on supporting the pilot cities for battery swap mode applications, pilot cities for collaborative development of smart city infrastructure and intelligent connected vehicles, construction of fuel cell vehicles demonstrating city clusters, promoting nevs in rural areas, and promoting the charging infrastructure in urban and rural areas. relevant departments will step up the supervision and guidance work, pay close attention to the use and management of the funds, urge cities and counties to speed up the project implementation progress, strengthen the performance management of funds, improve the efficiency of capital use, and provide a strong guarantee for optimizing the application environment of nevs.
